Cricket has been growing in Germany for years, but there have only been two women's cricket teams in North Rhine Westphalia for the past few years: one in Cologne, and one in Krefeld. We felt that Düsseldorf deserved a team of their own, so we founded Cricket Düsseldorf.

Our head coach, Suzy, is an ex-Germany international with a level 2 ECB coaching certification. She played for Germany for over a decade and was an integral part in creating the Strength and Conditioning program for the team.

As a cricket club in a country that still thinks cricket is played with horses, we welcome men, women and children of all experiences. If you've played before, we welcome you. If you're curious about what kind of sport cricket is, we welcome you. If you've never heard of the sport but are willing to learn and meet new people, we welcome you. Although we are currently focused on women's and youth cricket, we're happy to have anyone who's willing to be a part of our family.
